Dance

I am a conscious movement dance teacher. I truly believe that my own practice supports my self-awareness, my self-healing, my self-expression and my self-care. I hold regular workshops for women and have three offerings coming up in the Autumn of 2026:

Threshold

a three-month workshop series for women

for women who feel in a transition phase of life

women wanting to discover, recover, reinvent or rest right

women ready to take the time to feel and experience where they are right now through conscious movement, self-reflection and connection

because life can leave us balancing at a new edge — often without a map, a guide, or a sense of how to navigate what comes next

Threshold is a place to pause at that edge and explore what’s there

offering an opportunity to notice what is happening within you: to feel, express, explore and get to know yourself more fully as you are now

in between each workshop you’ll be held by movement meditations, self-massage learnings and your own personal reflection practice

personal yet in connection, deep yet spacious, grounded in reality and full of care

we will meet in person 3 times over 3 months

Sunday 18 October, Sunday 22 November and Sunday 20 December 2026

10am–1pm

Wilshaw Village Hall, just outside Holmfirth in West Yorkshire.

The timing of the workshop is intentional.

We begin in the middle of October, just before the clocks change, when the days are beginning to draw in.

We finish at the threshold of a new year, just before the Winter Solstice — the darkest point of the year, and the turning towards the light.

Three months

Three gatherings

A small group of women travelling alongside one another

The commitment is for all 3 modules

I’m offering an introductory price for this first cohort: total cost is £199 for the 3 months

And, I am offering an extra low early bird booking price of £149 if you book and pay on or before Wednesday 30th September 2026.

If you are interested in joining or would like to ask a question – email me – I’d love to hear from you.

YOGA : DANCE : FOOD

Five-hour afternoon workshops for women all held on Sunday afternoons.

Celebrating the seasons and offering the opportunity to move, feel, reflect and connect.

Held by experienced practitioners Katy Szarko (wonder women of ‘embodied, for anyone and everyone yoga’) and me.

Each afternoon brings together our shared love of creative, aware movement and hearty Ayurvedically inspired food.

Shaped by the season, each workshop has a different flavour and intention so each time our way of inviting you to explore through yoga, conscious dance and shared food will be carefully crafted to embrace where we are in the calendar.

To be honest, we got together and said ‘let’s make the kind of workshop we want to be at and would love to go to’ — and we both hope you will too.

We’ve already run 5 and the feedback has been heartwarming and joyful to read.

Coming up we have two gorgeous offerings:

Sunday 1st November - Autumn Wisdom – Moving our bones with the seasonal rhythms

Sunday 6th December - Season’s Edge - A celebration of movement before the turning of the year

Each workshop runs from 2pm – 7pm costs £70 (£65 early bird) and is held at Wilshaw Village Hall, just outside Holmfirth in West Yorkshire. A beautiful small hall with free parking, plenty of toilets and nestled in the hills of the Pennines.

What do attendees say about YOGA : DANCE : FOOD?

“I felt I was able to tune into my body….it was like having permission to go within and listen, and feel.”

“The session supported me beautifully to truly feel and build my energy levels organically, without any strain… or even thought!”

“I amazed myself by discovering more ‘bounce’ than I’ve felt in years. It was so wonderful to be able to dance with abandon alongside other joyful women.”

“I felt so well held by you both that I could abandon thinking too much and just engage in the experience. Your warm welcomes and the deliciously nurturing experience was what I needed to leave my morning behind.”

“I was able to notice the tightness in my neck and hips, the held tension from which I was able to release. I felt supported to follow my own introspection and work with my body.”

“It was wonderful to feel a sense of unity with others, even though I didn’t know anyone. I really loved the feeling of freedom and feeling completely absorbed in myself and the music.”

“Sharing a meal together and getting to know others was wonderful and the food was delicious and perfect for the occasion. Thanks again - so looking forward to the next workshop.”

“I felt the yoga was gentle and nourishing and the dance had energy. I really enjoyed the playlist. You made me feel very welcome and I loved the authenticity and honesty of your teaching styles.”

“I definitely felt safe and relaxed. Nothing felt demanded of me - it was a case of experimenting within my own skin to notice what was needed and take responsibility for that. The yoga was gentle and I felt stretched and relaxed during that period. I danced more than I had in years and was surprised by how stiff I felt the next day! It was the most enjoyable intense workout ever.”

What my clients say

Victoria’s ability to read the body’s messages as requests for help is amazingly insightful.
